Support Irvine’s Adopted Marines!
Bring a new, unwrapped gift for Marine families to the Great Park Visitors Center or Farmers Market through December 4

IRVINE – The Great Park is teaming up with the City of Irvine and the Irvine 2/11 Marine Adoption Committee to help make the season brighter for the families of Irvine’s adopted Marine Battalion. Bring new, unwrapped gifts to the Great Park Visitors Center during regular Park hours or to the Sunday Farmers Market and help put a smile on the faces of children through age 12. Donations are being accepted now through December 4.
Visitors who bring toy donations to the Farmers Market will receive a coupon good for one dollar off any Farmers Market purchase. The Farmers Market is the perfect place to not only support local Marine families, but also to pick up fresh produce, flowers and other goodies for your Thanksgiving table.
The Great Park is located on the site of the former Marine Corps Air Station El Toro, and features several programs that honor that legacy. While you’re visiting the Park to support Marine families this weekend, you can also visit the Great Park Gallery to see the latest exhibition, The Great Picture. The exhibition features images and video from The Legacy Project, documenting the transition of the Marine Base into the Great Park.
The Orange County Great Park is located at Sand Canyon and Marine Way, and can easily be reached by the 5 or 405 freeways. The Great Park Farmers Market is Sundays, 10 am to 2 pm. For more information or for Visitors Center and Gallery hours, please call 866-829-3829.
