Great Park to Host I9 Sports® Cheerleading Clinic

IRVINE - The Orange County Great Park is proud to announce the i9 Sports® Cheerleading Clinic led by Keith Jones, former Captain of the University of Southern California Yell Leading Squad, which will take place on Saturday, September 24 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on site of the new 7-acre Great Park North Lawn. The i9 Sports® Cheerleading Clinic will include classes in basic cheer positions, game time cheers and performance dance cheers. The clinic is open to all youth ages 7 to 10. The daylong clinic includes four classes that focus on cheerleading skills. The first class begins at 11:00 a.m. with introductions, grouping, stretching and basic cheer positions. Students will learn game time cheers at noon, then, performance dance cheers at 1:00 p.m. At 2:00 p.m., students will learn final performances.

About the Great Park
