This inspirational workshop series demystifies the great cuisines of the world, and introduces participants to the techniques and benefits of traditional old-world cooking. Local chefs and food experts will demonstrate how to prepare healthy, delicious, international meals from garden to table in less than 30 minutes. Participants will be taught the value and impact of using local, sustainably produced ingredients, and will be provided information on the nutritional value of the cuisine staples with details on how to grow them at home.

Located off the Atlantic Coast with heavy influences from the sea, food from Senegal is a unique infusion of flavorsome North African, French, and Portuguese cuisines, rich in color and refined in taste. Traditional native heritage has been skillfully blended with colonial elements to create what is now considered the mainstay of West African cuisine. Broaden your horizons and find out just how pleasing the culinary delights of this nation can be.
