Amy Caterina integrates fiber art, photography and video in her work. Her unique style of free-range knitting includes objects and environments that comment on the real and the artificial. Caterina also works as a freelance curator and is an avid yarn bomber. Amy resides in Santa Ana and holds a master’s degree in photography with an emphasis in video from California State University Fullerton.


Yarn Bombing 101

Moving Images

Artist-in-Residence Amy Caterina presents “Moving Images,” a collection of funny short films. The program is part of Rat Powered Films, a project Amy co-created with filmmaker Bob Pece, that seeks to nurture the growth of unique artistic visions in video and filmmaking, providing a forum for experimental works from around the world. “Moving Images” will feature comedy shorts from a variety of sources, and will take place in the Palm Court Arts Complex.
