Get up and get moving at the Great Park! This series is an outdoor exercise experience emphasizing relaxation, balance & coordination, and general fitness for everyone! Don’t forget to bring your mats (or a towel), water, and clothes you can move in.
Pilates
Participants are invited to lengthen, strengthen and tone their midsections while improving posture during class. Pilates strengthens core muscles while improving balance and coordination. Weather Permitting. Recommended age: 7+
Real Fitness Boot Camp
Expect to burn up to 1,000 calories with this fun, dynamic, full-body workout. It will include a complete warm-up, cardio and strength exercises, followed by a full cool down and stretching. Weather Permitting. Recommended age: 12+
Tai Chi
Reduce stress, increase energy, and gain mental focus with Tai Chi, the easy-to-learn 3,000 year old Chinese system for health and well-being. Yang style Tai Chi, called “Meditation in Movement” will help you to relax mentally and physically at deeper levels. Weather Permitting. Recommended age: All ages
Yoga
Improve strength, flexibility, and stamina through guided poses, mental imagery, and breath work. Yoga attendees will learn the fundamentals of each technique and how to relax and de-stress while strengthening and loosening muscles and joints. Weather Permitting. Recommended age: 7+
